Day -9: Some Thoughts About Not Dying

Despite the title, the article below is not about dying. It's about living. We might as well get it right now.

I'm not actually dying, but you can imagine that I might have thought about it some. I can relate to these things. What a great gift courage is ... the courage to live the way you believe is best, not the courage to die.

  2. Yeah, your sister (my mom) was always showing me things like this, or hanging articles on the refrigerator, when I was growing up. It has definitely affected my choices as an adult--and caused my friends (and wife) some heartache as I diligently "went barefoot earlier in the spring and later in the fall" and made sure I was making memories.

  3. Paul, my husband, also Paul, found your blog and I have added it to those I am following on my blog site..http://tamarafowler.blogspot.com/. I have CLL with 17p deletion, which unfortunately puts me in the high risk category. I am waiting for a MUD match so I can join the ranks of transplant folks. I too am a Christian and appreciate your outlook. We do, indeed, have a unique opportunity to show and share our Lord. Our prayers are with you and we look forward to following your progress. All the best, Tamara Fowler.
