Great, great Bible study last night! (Wrote about it here.)
Going to hospital for transfusion this morning (any moment, as soon as I get this done). Very excited about the extra energy.
Tomorrow's Vanderbilt to begin chemo. My siblings are all getting their boxes to be marrow typed yesterday or today. So, the process has started!
Yesterday, when we were getting my blood typed to make sure there's no mistakes today, my wife said, "I can't believe you've made getting leukemia fun. Is this allowed?"
We'll find out. So far, so good, and I've met a lot of great people who gone through much worse before me.
So I'm excited, and it appears I'm allowed to stay excited :-D.
who said that? i couldn't tell.
ReplyDeleteand, did you get your comments fixed?

Thank you. I'm sorry to hear that you had to be a leukemia mom. May God turn it into a blessing for you, especially towards others.
ReplyDeleteI just talked to a lady this morning whose niece died of leukemia at age 2 or 3. On the other hand, yesterday I talked to a lady who's daughter (a daughter around my age) is at a "so far so good" stage after a stem cell transplant.
So many people, and so many of them are kind and encouraging.
Thank you!
Thanks, Allison. I fixed the reference to Hannah. She had told me about that, too.
